Speed Test Information

The FCC has released a Mobile Consumer Broadband Test for the Apple iPhone and Android mobile platforms. The official name of the App is the “FCC Broadband Test.” This tool can be downloaded to your Apple or Android enabled device by accessing the App Store on your handheld phone. Install the FCC Mobile Broadband Test application from the iTunes Store like you would any other app.
From your device visit the iTunesStore located at: http://www.apple.com/iphone/apps-for-iphone/ and you can search for “FCC Mobile” and it will bring up their app.

Android

The Android app market is available here: http://www.android.com/market/

RIM Blackberry

BlackBerry devices are not supported.

Apple Computers

Apple computers will run the speed test. It works on Mac computers such as the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, etc. You need to have a version of Flash installed that is fully supported on the OS X platform.
